You can compare it to the Telltale games where it's all about the story instead of adding any significant gameplay elements. Things I liked - Great story - Awesome ending that wraps everything up for you - Doesn't ever really slow down and no filler parts in the story - Ronan was a great character and a prequel would have been awesome and completely different, making for more creativity - No bugs to speak of - Looks great - Voice acting and writing are pretty good - You get to drive a cat Things I wasn't too fond of - Gameplay was a bit bland, doing the same things over and over again but Telltale does the same thing so why can't Airthight Games? - Some of Joy's animations were a bit clunky - No variety in enemies - Some of the NPCs are exactly the same - Not enough ghostly powers It's a good game if you're looking for an interesting, creative story with plot twists all over the place but don't expect groundbreaking gameplay. Although, I do wish there were more monsters. Sure, the demons seem a little unneeded at some points but they do change the pace a little which is fine with me. It's a great game and the ending is sure to make it worth you're while, I know I didn't see that coming. It's a great game and the ending is Truly a misunderstood game with a fantastic story that keeps you going despite some very average gameplay. You can't beat possessing poeple and reading their thoughts.

It is a fun and enjoyable experience, I am more than glad I bought this game, and if this genre is your cup of tea, you will be quite glad you had this adventure. You'll feel like you are watching Ghost (the Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze flick) at times, at others it'll be a Tex Murphy experience. It is a relaxing experience, and one that should be experienced. This game is fun and funny, ok in some areas and amazing in others.

The Story keeps you interested, the acting is top notch, the relationship between the main character and his partner is akin that of Booker and Elizabeth in Bioshock Infinite. It is a mix of old school adventure atmosphere, smartass detective work, it is slow but it is great. In its own genre and taken as a separate entity, this game shines. This game doesnt have "action" it doesnt have shooting, stealing cars, and destruction. But that is also why many who would enjoy a game such as Murdered Soul Suspect won't even try it. Reviewers and websites want to insure business, They do that by "pleasing" the majority, and they do that by guessing what the majority would and wouldnt like and let that bias affect their own review of the games.
